Forrester: CRE and FM leadership weigh in on their technology needs for return-to-office

This research brief is based on a March report conducted by Forrester Consulting that surveyed 336 corporate real estate (CRE) and facilities management (FM) decision-makers. It identifies the pressing questions FM and CRE leaders face as they consider their next steps for technology implementation while deploying return-to-office plans and creating hybrid workplaces.

CRE and FM leadership provided their insights on:
  • The challenges of managing productivity, operations, and safety during re-entry
  • How quickly decision-makers plan to invest in technology to support productivity and safety
  • Their top technology implementation hurdles
  • The importance of third-party support for technology implementation

Michele Pelino, a Forrester analyst who spoke during a recent JLLT webinar, shared that these results are “statistically significant” and pointed out that the 336 CRE and FM survey respondents represented a wide variety of roles and voices across diverse industries.
